NATURAL VENTILATION SOLUTIONS

REDUCE HEAT NATURALLY

We help you create a healthier and more comfortable environment in your building by using cost effective wind-driven and solar ventilation technology. Our solutions are suitable for residential, commercial, industrial and institutional buildings incl. schools.

Take advantage of two natural forces – convection currents inside your building and the wind outside.

VENTILATION SOLUTIONS

Active wind-driven ventilation is achieved through temperature and pressure differences between the inside and outside of the building. It draws air upwards, creating convection currents and extracting hot, stale or humid air from the building alongside fumes and odors.

HOW IT WORKS

Improving Air Quality

Natural ventilation systems ensure that clean air is flowing throughout the building. This will improve your air quality which, in turn, will improve the health of the occupants of the building and increase productivity and concentration levels.

BENEFITS

REQUIREMENTS

According to most building codes, you need 1m of vent area for each 15m attic floor space. The minimum is 1m2 for every 30m of attic floor space if there is a vapor retarder or the space is balanced between the ridge and intake vents.

A balanced ventilation system means about 50% of the required ventilating area should be provided by exhaust vents in the upper portion of your attic with the remaining 50 % provided by intake vents. Please remember, building codes specify the minimum amount of ventilation. You may want to increase the requirement to ensure proper ventilation.

PRODUCTS

Curved turbine vents deliver and optimum efficiency whatever the weather conditions. In difficult crosswind situations a curved turbine vent will hold their shape and will spin effectively, ensuring the proper ventilation of your building. Ideal for commercial and residential applications.

ACTIVE WIND

Motorised hybrid ventilation is a two mode system that combines natural active ventilation (wind) with an electronically commutated (EC) motor in a single unit to ensure reliable and on-demand peak performance, when required. The motor can be activated by a manual switch or operation can be controlled by any digital measure, such as temperature, humidity or gas concentration level. Ideal for residential areas, schools and public sporting or social buildings, commercial and retail.

HYBRID

Providing the largest possible surface area for horizontally driven wind to flow through. Therefor the turbine speed is maximised, enhancing the effectiveness and efficiency of ventilation performance. They are suitable for a range of applications including removing hot, stale, and humid air from buildings as well as to extract fumes or odors. Ideal for industrial and warehouse situations.

ACTIVE WIND

Powered completely by solar energy, the solar vent is a simple and environmentally sensible solution. It contains a photovoltaic solar panel which converts sunlight energy into electrical energy. This drives a motor that spins an exhaust fan blade inside the frame, which in turns exhausts the heat from your roof space. To make sure that the vent runs only when needed it can be controlled by a humidistat and a thermostat. Ideal for commercial or residential roof spaces.
